We proudly offer a friendly, holistic service throughout Croydon.
Our NHS Community Audiology Service is provided in partnership with the NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (SWL ICB). This service enables us to offer aftercare for NHS Hearing Aids as well as provide batteries.
Our work with the NHS enables us to make referrals into the Audiology and ENT services available in Croydon, often saving you a trip to the GP.
The Assistive Equipment Service is provided in partnership with Croydon Council. To find out more about Assistive Equipment click here.
Our Charitable Services
Our Hearing Cafe provides an inclusive and non-judgemental space for people who are experiencing hearing loss to meet, chat and enjoy light refreshments. Our friendly, professional team will be on hand to offer support. This is free to the hearing loss community but donations to our charity are always welcome.
Our Initial Hearing Testing is for people who do not have hearing aids and are unsure if they have a hearing loss. The tests are currently provided in Thornton Heath and Selsdon on specific dates and are by appointment only. Following the test we will advise whether you might benefit from a hearing aid and we will provide you with the options available to you. It would be your choice to either continue down an NHS or private pathway. We are able to make GP referrals into the NHS to eliminate the need for a GP appointment.
We provide this service to prevent people entering into sales environments if it is not necessary to do so.
We also offer Deaf Awareness Training to a variety of organisations within the borough.
